This recipe is is a high-protein, gluten-free and dairy-free breakfast option. It can be prepared ahead of time and serve as a convenient on-the-go option for your busy days.
The reason why this is an anti-aging meal is because it’s packed with anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredients. As mentioned in this post, the goji berries and pomegranate seeds have scientific evidence of delaying the aging process in the body when consumed regularly.
The cashew milk yogurt is the perfect alternative (in my opinion) to any dairy-based option. It’s perfectly creamy and has a very mild taste which serves as a great base to any yogurt bowl or parfait.
I typically purchase my pomegranate seeds, blueberries, and shredded coconut from Trader Joe’s but you can probably find these in any grocery store. And the chia seeds and granola I purchase on Amazon, but again you could probably find a good option at your local grocery store.
I prefer the Vital Proteins brand of collagen peptides because I can find them at Costco for a good price. But any brand of collagen peptides, such as this one on Amazon, would work in this recipe to add up to 20 grams of protein.
The cashew-milk yogurt may be tough to find at your local grocery store. I typically add a container to my Imperfect Foods order, but I have also seen it at Target. Trader Joe’s also has a cashew milk yogurt option which is flavored with vanilla and slightly sweetened, but it is also a great choice. Honestly, any dairy-free yogurt option that isn’t heavily sweetened would work in this delicious anti-aging breakfast recipe.

The honey you choose is completely up to you. Raw and local is best to provide your body with maximum nutrients, but any organic, raw option (like the one I included in this recipe) will provide a good nutrient boost and added sweetness.
