I've been competing in the sport of volleyball since I was 15 years old and played throughout high school and college. After college, I dabbled in sand volleyball and ultimately made the transition completely to beach volleyball by the time I was 30. I started competing in the sand later in life than most of my opponents but the knowledge that I've gained about holistic health and sports nutrition has helped my game immensely. Since opening my nutrition practice over 10 years ago, the habits I've formed and the strategies I've implemented have allowed me to continue to play competitively now that I'm my 40s. I also work with other adult athletes to help them do the same.
